BoatSmith is a Festival bringing boaters together. Experience a great weekend on the Smith River, and support the local community. There will be a number of whitewater opportunities ranging from Class I to Class V. We are also opening the door to all boaters using all types of boats. Whether that be a Hardshell, Canoe, or Inflatable Kayak. Rafts, Cats, and Creature Crafts are welcome too. Wanna float with a SUP or a River Board? Currently we are planning launch on a class II to III section and a IV/V class. Look at the Event page for more details on boat events. Also feel free to contact us if you have a boat you'd like to represent.
We will also have a kick-ass awards party Saturday night with live music including "DJ Bean Sprout" plus a raffle at Rowdy Creek Park. Join us early on Thursday and connect with boaters at Rowdy Creek Park. Friday join us for a Film Fest/Music at the Rowdy Creek Park. Throughout the event you'll enjoy some excellent food from local chefs in the area.
